Great books for the young nature lover

I remember reading these books in elementary school, grades 3-6. There were SO MANY of them in the series, that there was always a new one for me to read. I LOVED them, and think that they are probably what cultivated my love and appreciation for animals, and nature in general. They are really cute stories that any little kid would love, especially if they like being outside. I plan on getting the whole series for our little boy. :)
