Lovely concept expressed through great writing

First of all, I must note that I started this read without any prior knowledge of Vastu Shastra so the concept in its entirety was completely new to me. I thought the summary was intriguing enough to give it a chance and, having just finished the read, I can certainly say I’m more than glad that I chose to do so. Author Michael Dinuri writes in a very insightful and straightforward manner while still keeping the tone of the book far from feeling like a chore to read, I truly have learned a lot and I doubt I could have found a better introduction to the concept of Vastu Shastra – it’s a wonderful concept and I will definitely be putting the techniques into practice in the near future. I highly recommend it!

Applying Yoga Ideas in My Home

I’ve attended yoga classes sporadically over the last year but I made a resolution this year to devote more time to mind body wellness. After reading the description of this book I decided to pick it up because the idea of applying the calmness and sense of well-being I felt in my yoga classes to my home. This is why I would recommend this book- It was great to have a different perspective on how even something as simple as my choice of linen could influence my mood. I like that the ideal characteristics of each room in the home are explored in detail and that there is a discussion of the role of clutter on one’s well-being. As a life coach, this is something I have been telling my clients for years and now I have Vedic principals to use to support that idea (and I love that the author referred to neuroscientific research about this topic). This isn’t a book that conflicts with religious of spiritual values- rather for me it just presented another way to view what I was already practicing in yoga. Happy Reading- Namaste :)
